We ordered new products but used ones were delivered. Boxes were opened, manuals and accessories are missing. Very poor service, not reliable.

An order placed in September would be delivered in December, when it became January. Can understand this with stocks and covid. But then immediately the order was canceled and it is now mid-February and I am still waiting for my money. Really can't do it, and every time they say they make it over this week.

Many negative experiences that I read here are not due to the Elektrototaalmarkt company, but to carriers who make a mess of it (more than usual in 2020), or the specifications that are taken over from manufacturers / suppliers or are misread / not read. Nothing less than good experiences with this company, since I know what I am buying, and always check on the manufacturer's site on the basis of EAN or product code whether the article has the correct specifications for my application. With a little common sense, you can go a long way, otherwise you can always ask friends or family for help. When I walk into the store without knowledge of cereal, I don't blame the supermarket for cornflakes turning out to be muesli, which the children like? I like to buy here, as the prices are good and the range is very extensive. I often remark that if products are sold out elsewhere, Elektrototaalmarkt can still deliver. I don't mind that it can take a little longer now and then: I just order on time. Saves me a lot of frustration!

Last year I bought a frost-protecting stove (Frico 300 Watt). This heater would go up to 35 degrees. I mounted it horizontally in a bathroom of a well-insulated wooden house. The heater heated the bathroom to about 12 degrees and then the heater clicked off, then clicked again after a few minutes. Thus the stove continued to commute. I wrote an email to this company and asked if the thermostat was broken. This was their answer: 'Unfortunately, the frost protector does not have enough capacity to heat your room. Considering your dimensions you would need a minimum of 1200watt '. After several emails back and forth, I hired a certified electrician. He concluded that the stove was broken. He also wrote an email to the company, after which the company proposed to send the stove to them for examination. The end of the song: The stove was broken, the company concluded. I received a new one. Finally resolved. Only I find it very customer (and maybe even woman) unfriendly how the handling went. After a certified (male) electrician concluded the same as I did, it got fixed. For me: I NEVER buy from this company again!
