I've been here for an open MRI after I had a panic attack in a regular MRI. The staff is really super friendly, which started with making the appointment where everything is properly discussed and you are already put at ease. On the day of the MRI I was quite nervous, because with a head MRI you have to lie still on your back for a while and then you can actually see little of the fact that the device is open. But luckily the person who helped me was very friendly and put my friend on a chair next to the device so that he could hold my hand all the time. She also kept good contact and kept telling how long a series would last. (It varied between 1 and 6 minutes for me). The device makes some noise, but you get a good pair of headphones that you can still hear the sound through, but it is doable. All in all, I am really very satisfied and also grateful that this possibility existed, otherwise I would not have been able to get an MRI. Then some practical matters; free parking is available around the building. The building is wheelchair accessible and there is an elevator. At the time of writing (December 2020), due to COVID-19 measures, the temperature will be measured and you will receive a mouth mask at the entrance. When you are in the scanner, you can take off the mask.

I had a mri scan of my head. This was previously unsuccessful in the hospital because of claustrophobia (closed mri tunnel). Luckily they had a solution at Diasana with the open mri scanner. It was even easy with the special glasses you get with which you look in the room. So people with claustrophobia can safely go to Diasana! The friendly staff also thanks!

Today I made an open MRI scan of my neck. I am extremely claustrophobic when I have to lie down with my head in a classic MRI machine. At first on my back with some kind of brace in front of my neck / head and this did not work. Then I was allowed to lie on my side with my head on a pillow. Just could see into space and this worked really well. I was helped over my fear without any problems and I have never had the feeling that something was too much to ask. So very satisfied. Thank you very much!!

Today open mri scan because of claustrophobia in one word great, everything is explained nothing is too much. Also the staff is so sweet and understanding full, big compliment for the employees. Can recommend everyone to go to Diasana.
