#40Boxmeer, cycled around here and was really delighted by how well maintained the whole area is. Castle, museum, care home, and still used by the nuns. Very peaceful spot in Boxmeer. #railthetrails

Very nice place. We were not in the interior, it was closed. But the castle itself and the surroundings are very nice. There are water lilies on the water and there are large flower meadows in the area.

Nice to visit once. Should I mention that it is a large complex, but the castle part itself that is left of the old castle is not that big anymore. But if you're in the area I would go and have a look.
