Satisfied with service, staff does speak English and is able to help. Appointment is fast if urgent.

Very bad experience. It was my first time as a patient in the Netherlands, and I am still shocked how badly and unfriendly I was treated by the staff there. They literally do not care about you and never had I an encounter with such unempathic people. Apparently I had food poisoning so I had terrible pain, I was very weak. After my 2 min "appointment" where the doctor did almost nothing to check me, he prescribed some painkillers to me and sent me out. I was on my own and had to take a taxi home, however I had such pain that I just sat in the waiting room for 1 hour till I felt a little better. When I asked the receptionist if they could call a taxi for me, her reply was " don't you have your own phone?" apparently they have no idea how it feels to fall sick, not knowing the native language and being completely on your own in another country. I was literally passing out and they could not care less, as an international student I strongly recommend you to NOT visit this medical office!

Insensitive staff members, probably over burdened. New neighbors (mostly foreigners ) are asked to join far away centers and appointments are difficult to get.

The ladies at the desk can often be a bit friendlier, but in general we are quite satisfied with the services provided!

There are NO good general practices in postcode area 6229. Annoying, because civilians do live there. These citizens are not allowed to register with a general practitioner of their choice OUTSIDE their postcode area. I then pay 15% of my income in health insurance premiums every month. Too sad for words. General Practice Medicine Maastricht proudly states on the website that it has trained 1000 general practitioners since their start. I prefer 10 good GPs.
