The photos were promising, but in reality I thought the room was old-fashioned. There is a musty smell, the room is in dire need of a makeover, and it was very dark. Breakfast was not available, fine. But then I think the room is quite pricey (€ 110 for 1 night). I also did not find the reception very warm. Check-in was from 3:00 PM "and then I got a call at 4:30 (when I was shopping) to ask where I was staying, because the lady had been waiting for me for 1.5 hours. The "reception" was also very dusty and there was a foul smell of smoke. Please put in some time, money and love, because you can no longer call this a beautiful B&B. My sister and I make a party of everything, even this one, but I'm definitely not going to book this B&B again.

Tastes differ of course ...... And everyone experiences a visit to a B&B and / or hotel in their own way. And fortunately many people experience this B&B as very pleasant. Yet we have experienced this differently, and I would like to share that. I think check-in is pretty strict. In any case, this is not allowed before 3 p.m. so you should go straight into the city. You must then let us know what time you want to check in exactly. We did not know that yet, we wanted to go shopping, go for a walk and enjoy terraces. But you have to pass this on because otherwise, as she said; 'I have to wait for you all the time'. Doesn't exactly feel like a warm bath. And you feel bound to a time, which is precisely not what you feel on a weekend away. In addition, we can really appreciate a characteristic B&B. But for us this was more old-fashioned and in need of renewal. It didn't smell very fresh. There is a very musty smell. The reception is more reminiscent of a dark, vague entrance to an (old) student house. The rooms are spread over several buildings. The hallways are dark and stuffy and smelled like cigarettes. It doesn't feel like a cozy B&B. More like a room rental company. We also found the price to be on the high side, especially when you consider that you still have to book breakfast separately. Parking is also paid until 10pm. So all in all, we thought it was an expensive joke. It was certainly clean, but because of the smells that hang there, it doesn't feel like that. The location itself is great, only the street felt impoverished.
