Rooms not comfortable

The experience with Hotel de Klok was a one-off for us, the back room we got was so old and worn out. You could not lie in the bed or lay on the floor. the wooden floors that creak are not normal if someone had to wake up after the toilet at night, that is not a lie, the rooms are very noisy, the stairs are very steep (carry suitcases). The breakfast was not too bad when you get up a bit later, there was not much left (wasn't that much on the table already). A day before our arrival we received an email confirming booking that you could request a discount card at the reception, which also gave a 15% discount on the daily parking rate (parking Swichpark Oude Vest 3) THE HOTEL REFERRES US AFTER THIS, but unfortunately they hadn't gotten discount cards in a few weeks so whatever you call it I regret that they do that there are other places where parking is cheaper. Breda is a very nice city.

Great, very central location in the middle of the city - quaint ambience - O.K. but not friendly - the hotel is not accessible by car - you can max. 300m distance as the crow flies by car - parking lot Oude Vest 16 € / 24h - luggage must then be transported through the pedestrian zone over cobblestones - Unfortunately, we had (Comfort- !!) Room 1, with a "view" of air conditioning and exhaust ducts - both sides - very loud at night - not due to the proximity to the city, but in-house - breakfast O.K.
