Van der Valk Hotel Breda Princeville

Normally I recommend anyone to book a Van Der Valk hotel. It is usually excellent breakfast, dinner, rooms and overall a very good price / comfort ratio. This hotel i do not recommend so much. My main disappointment was the restaurant. We had ordered the fish platter for 2. Ok, it was in mids of covid so it is not so easy maybe to get fresh products. That said I think the poor fish died 3 times before ending op on our table. 1 when frozen, two when fried and 3 when kept warm in the oven, waiting for someone crazy like me to order the dish. The room was ok, despite a bit noisy ventilator. Staff was very friendly.

Comparing to other branches of van der valk, this one is bit old and restaurant is really lower than van der valk standards. I could say I was in more than 10 branches of van der valk and this one was the worst among them and sadly I went to this branch 3 times (because it's close to my house), but I won't go there anymore.
