BredaPhoto Festival

I enjoyed it.

This festival is truly wonderful! The theme of 2018, To Infinity and Beyond, is such an interesting topic which sparks discussion regarding current topics, such as the influence of technology and science on society, religion, space exploration, AI and much more! BredaPhoto also focusses on upcoming talented (student or recently graduated) photographers and giving them the opportunity to exhibit and connect with art world professionals and established photographers. Love it and highly recommend it to anyone!

Already the 9th edition of this must-see festival, this year too topical, contemporary, challenging and innovative. Rich in terms of offer and perspectives, at special (and yet different) locations than at previous times, almost too much to view (properly) in one day. Each will have his / her own preferences, the intriguing, alienating, beautiful series from and about China in the Grote Kerk were more than eye-openers. And for the rest, it is 2020 almost everywhere: a world in confusion, because in addition to China, there are images of and about social issues from South Africa, Romania, Iran, the Netherlands (probably), India and much more. work, the theme and sometimes the intensity of it leaves you dizzy after a visit. But: not to be missed!
