Nice modern Hema shop with cosy restaurant upstairs offering delicious coffee, pies and warm food. Hema (Hollandsche Eenheidsprijzen Maatschappij Amsterdam) is getting back from losing out on modern times. Interesting articles for sale here and still for round figures in euro (nothing costs 1,99 for instance...).

Friendly staff, but no customer-oriented solution from the branch management for a wrongly priced item. The branch manager did not show up and left the handling to the young staff present. Not as it should and hence a negative review
