Last Thursday we had to put our dearest buddy Lex to sleep At home in his familiar surroundings, From our house we were taken to Peelrust. There we were nicely received by and man and Lex were put on the cart with respect and driven into a warm, atmospheric room where we had plenty of time to say goodbye to Lex
Relaxing music in the background and candles. Despite our enormous grief, we left with a good feeling. Saturday we went to pick up Lex together again and unfortunately our good feeling was already destroyed in no time. Upon entering, the empty basket was immediately visible and that was very confronting for us. Full of emotion in the office sat down there and the woman who sat there said it was unne schonne dog Well that already seemed strange to us and when she also said and he has not grown old it was clear to us that she did not had read the papers and in our opinion it was not about our Lex. And a weinmaraner of 12.5 years old is a very old age for this breed. We also left almost immediately and have a bitter taste for this. After an e-mail from us, she apologized to us, but she could have done this immediately, because we assume that she really felt that she had not acted properly. Too bad that this last important piece for us closed in this way.

Very good experience!
When I brought my dog there she was neatly placed on a cart from the car. This cart was then taken to the farewell room where I had plenty of time to say goodbye.
A few hours before my dog was to be cremated, I had called to ask if it was still possible to get a few more tufts of hair. Was no problem and was able to pick it up in no time.

We actually wanted to bury our Koosje at home, but we are so glad we had her cremated. Very friendly people at "Peelrust". And afterwards a nice reminder note.
