My name is Christos Tsakiridis and I'm resident of Berlin, Germany. At 10.07.2016 I bought a new car from the company AIDA Autohaus GmbH located in Johannisthaler Chaussee 403, 12351 Berlin. The car is a white Mitsubishi ASX with VIN JMBXYGA7WF2D10547. Starting in December 2016 and only a few months since I bought the car, I've noticed orange spots (or marks) all over the car. I brought the car back to the dealer (AIDA Autohaus) so they can check the issue and since then my long and disappointing experience with Mitsubishi has begun. When the car was checked for the first time from the dealer, the official outcome was that the spots are caused from the trees and specifically from the falling leaves of the trees. After several visits and specifically on 20.02.2017 the dealer decided to apply a cream on the car. Even after that the problem was still present and they claimed that it was caused because of welding. This isn't possible though because the car is parked in a closed parking space and none of the other cars nearby have similar spots. The spots started to multiply in time and because the dealer was unwilling to help then I've decided to get legal advice and hired a lawyer. During that time AIDA Autohaus GmbH continued having the same negative attitude towards me. Eventually, they booked an appointment with their own specialist in 2018 who came to the following conclusion: "The spots are a result of Berlin's air". This is the official response from the Mitsubishi's official dealer in Berlin. When I reacted to this conclusion then the dealer advised me to dry the water from the car every time it's raining because it consists of some metallic salts, which are causing the spots on the car. Of course this advice doesn't make sense in a place like Berlin where it rains for long periods. Finally, they blamed me for choosing this color and concluded that it was my fault. Therefore, I proceeded with my lawyer and on 31.07.2020 the court trial took place. This actually didn't help much and actually brought more distress and disappointment because the court has assigned an expert technician, but I would have to pay 3000 euros for that. According to the lawyer all the expenses until the end of the process would be approximate 10,000 euros, which is far more than I can handle. On the other hand, Mitsubishi advertises that all cars have a 5 year or 100,000 Km warranty, which in my case proved to be false. All the photos I have gathered are proof of my case, but the dealer and Mitsubishi only come with excuses.
