The recently renovated, large Royal theater is one of the last cinemas in this region, left from the glory days of film. Try to catch a movie here while it is playing in the big theater and spend the few extra bucks to sit on the balcony. You don't want to go back to your average multiplex shoe-box theater afterwards...

Mighty beautiful and authentic theater where special films are shot. Recommended!

Legroom is normal. The strange thing is that all halls are scattered throughout the city. One has a toilet, the other does not. The cinema in the Geleenstraat has one general toilet without a lock. There is a note on the handle that you must turn over; it says "Busy". What else do you want? The one does have beer the other does not. You have to buy 3d glasses but unfortunately the film is not fast enough (frame rate) so that with a little movement everything is not sharp. No air conditioning, very hot! The break lasts 5 minutes.
