Only do this if you enjoy trains.... A lot.... Extremely boring to me, barely anything to see with the bushes and trees blocking the view. It's literally just sitting in a slightly noisier train for 90 minutes.

This is a fantastic thing to do with kids around Christmas time. Doesn't take too long and is a real adventure! An old steam train riding you around for an hour. Tickets are valid for the rest of the day on several other train tracks as well!

What a fabulous outing for the whole family! ZLSM offers a great excursion. Not only the main steam train, which is kept in pristine condition, but also routes East and West from Simpelveld and even to Germany! The fact that they manage to keep this going, given the current high standards on the Dutch tracks is truly amazing. Apparently a connection to tourist hot-spot Valkenburg is on the cards! Go guys!
