Yes it's a wall, but not a very good one- Lots of ways around it. Could out flank it, easily. No defenses that I could see. Very lackadaisical city guard.

Nice city wall and well preserved. Lots to see from high up hence a worthwhile treck just for the views. Not suited for wheelchair or buggy access, but given its age that is all that can be expected. One side you can look down at part of the river and a park, the otherwise the city skyline.
