Minicamping de Wedze

It is the most beautiful campsite I have ever seen. There is flowers everywhere, and the couple who owns the place, is so sweet and welcoming. my girlfriend and i, enjoyed some lovely days there. Definitely a place we will be looking forward, to seeing again.

I have stayed in a lot of campsites throughout Europe but this has to be the nicest one. The owners live on site and were very friendly and accommodating when I arrived on bike late in the evening. The grass is nicer than most golf courses and the facilities are extremely clean. They even let me put my tent in a giant dome storage area to keep dry out of heavy rain. The prices are very reasonable and it is quite central to both Groningen and Leeuwarden. I would highly recommend staying here!

We slept 6 nights in the chicken caravan that you can rent here. Everything was ready upon arrival, including the awning and we were able to sit down immediately after unpacking our belongings. Our two children slept with us in the caravan, which made it more of a bed for us than a place to stay, but that was our choice beforehand. The awning with awning is ideal. The campsite is wonderfully quiet. Although we were there with small children, this was not seen as a nuisance. The children enjoyed the park-like environment and the free-range chickens with chicks. Thank you Gea and Frans for the warm welcome and your confidence that we left everything behind. Who knows until next time!

Ms. Slokkers' review is in my opinion unjustified. I stayed here at the campsite during the same period (even longer). The 'cry' baby (1 baby) had a restless night, 1 night! This certainly does not make a baby a crying baby. In addition, you sleep on a campsite! If you don't want to hear the sound of passing cars, it would have been better to first look carefully on Google Maps to see where the campsite is really located. For both the 'crying' baby and the sound of the cars (neither of which bothered me at all) they have something beautiful: EAR PLUGS The toilets are very clean. There are even wet cleaning cloths so that you can take off the glasses yourself before your visit. In addition, I never had to wait a single time. There are 2 washing up places, well sometimes you have to wait. I have never seen the campsite where this is not necessary. In addition, waiting is also a pleasant moment to have a chat. Camping De Wedze is run by Gea and Frans, 2 top people who know what they are doing! I have seen many campsites, but this campsite really stands out. So beautiful (gardens, grass, etc.) and cared for. In addition, cycling (cycling) is really a gift here. No, the road is not busier than anywhere else and within a few minutes you are in the beautiful Frisian landscape. All nice viewings are by car max 30 minutes from the campsite. Ideal. I would definitely like to come back here. Gea and Frans, thank you for the wonderful time at your campsite.

How we enjoyed our holiday at this pleasant campsite! We will definitely come back, also because the location is perfect, if you want to move a little through FRL. I also agree with Chantelle, because Mrs Slokkers' criticism is unjustified! Gji sa troch Frans en Gea, great tank foar jim hospitality!
