Vogelkijkhut Jan Durkspolder

It’s so mesmerizing to sit there and see big groups of birds flying over the lake. It also appeared like a decently maintained place. Definitely worth a visit!

April 8, 2020. From this bird hut you can always spot many birds; with or without binoculars. Easily accessible by bicycle from Earnewâld or Oudega. It is a bit more difficult by car, but there is a parking space nearby. The surroundings are also beautiful and inviting for walking or cycling.

Very nice view. We sat here for a long time and enjoyed the sounds and the view. Glad there is also a drive-up area for wheelchairs.

What a beautiful place to spot birds in a beautiful part of the Netherlands. Awesome! Easily accessible by bicycle.
