The people who live here should be more grateful and appreciate the wonders of order, punctuality, respect and security. I'm from South America: Colombia one of the worst countries in the world.
Great train service but take the tram it's way cheaper, station is busy, trains on time maybe needs a little more tlc ( cleaning and painting) a few shops and helpful staff.
Similar problem as with Spaklerweg Station so let me just do a similar review.
What a f... genius designed the station the way, the subway (tunnel) is not accessible without train tickets? I know locals probably all have their ov chipkaart. But what if you are a tourist, or even a locals who forgot the ov card and just want to cross the tracks (or access the ticket hall from HvA side)? You cannot use the station underground subway to do that, you need to walk extra few hundred meters to the next street.
Stupid design, I am sure it could have been done better, go to e.g. London and check out their Tube stations and foot subways around them, ticket halls are always accessible from each street side, ticket gates are usually by the escalators thus allowing free access to foot subways.
Very nicely renovated. Accessible.
