Avoid rooms with “street” view, those have small window in corridor only! We’ve booked one see view and has been changed to street view. Thought it’s ok but it’s much worse than with windows and doors to canal. Those rooms are not the same value although charged the same. Street view seems even smaller, might be due to darkness.
The rest is ok - facilities, cleanliness.
The owners of the hostel are very concerned about the environment very clean and nice

Had a wonderful stay with very hospitable owners with a passion for the province of Friesland. Everything was spotlessly clean and cleaned very regularly. Towels and tea towels are present in large quantities so that there is always a clean towel available. Kitchen available with a wide range of clean dishes, cutlery, etc. Spontaneity of owners was also appreciated. For example, he came to bring a napkin when we were eating fries on the terrace (at the accommodation). Large separate male / female bathrooms. We also had a room on the water and enjoyed the boats that came by. Worth repeating!
