Gasterij Hennie Fan Richt is a very cosy furnished restaurant in the heart of Makkum. The dishes are traditional and their preparation is of a very good standard. The Fish is, of course, very good!!!
The restaurant is filled with seafaring curiosities! Absolutely great! A MUST for Makkum visitors.

If you want to eat just good food that is familiar this is an excellent place. The service is good, the food is delicious and the atmosfeer is nice.
Very friendly host and waiters. Helped quickly and smoothly. We had a large bowl of tomato soup beforehand that tasted delicious. As a main course a mixed grill and tournedos. Meat was perfectly prepared and delicious in taste and generous portion. The side dishes were generous: fries, delicious baked potato, cauliflower, chicory gratin, salad. Everything has a good taste and good temperature.
The dessert menu also looked good, but we had to decline because we were more than satisfied after a starter and main course.
All in all, highly recommended!
Just a night out. A beautiful "brown" eatery with friendly service. The food is excellent and enough to satisfy hunger. Really recommended.
