Zwanemeer is a very friendly, helpful place. Not luxurious, but perfectly adequate. At breakfast you can fix yourself a couple sandwiches to take with you for lunch, and they also offer dinner, which we didn't use but which I understand is very nice, home cooked.
A charming place to stay and to dine, in a hidden gem of a Drenthe village, with clean, well-appointed rooms and hospitable, efficient owners.
Very friendly owners. The rooms are not big but comfortable and for a very reasonable price. Feels like a home away from home.
