Cafe Popken has a central function in Ekehaar where people meet to drink and catch-up. Also it is very close to the soccer field so you can imagine what happens after training or a match. They have very pleasant outdoor seating in the evening sun as well.

Fast and good service. Due to some misunderstanding, it seemed we wanted to leave without paying. Fortunately, the owner kept a close eye on everything.

Good coffee and the waffles with homemade strawberry compote are delicious. Also recommended as a stopover because there are no other options on various cycling routes in this area.

Beautiful terrace on a popular cycling route (also the historical TT route comes along here) Terrace with many shady spots, everything neat and well done for very reasonable prices. Their internet site does not state that there is a small map, so shown below 😃
