Lovely! If you are looking for a place to drink some amazing coffee, Tee, or have a refreshing beverage (no alcohol) or eat a home made lunch or breakfast while enjoying the unique atmosphere surrounded by the piece and quiet of nature than this is a place that you definitely have to visit! Enjoy! 😃

Great place. Friendly owner. Good coffee (€1.00 coffee at the bar!). Nice breakfast/brunch choices.

Terrific!!! So glad we found this place. The perfect café to stop for a coffee, or like we did sit and work while enjoying breakfast (and lunch!). It’s so great that instead of spending the hour there which we intended to, we were there all afternoon. Everything tastes homemade. The Benedict with the incredible hollandaise was something to travel back for! The gezond sandwich was also great. We also tried the hose specialty chocolate cake, which was essentially biscuits and nuts covered in chocolate. Delicious! If you find yourself in the area, make time for a coffee at Lodewijk :)

Together with a friend and the little girl we wanted to practice our hobby today, but unfortunately it rained the whole morning. We decided to have a drink first and we came here. What a nice place, nice service (owner?) And delicious food and drinks, we will come again

Lodewijk is located in a picturesque spot in the heart of Zuidlaren. With a terrace overlooking a beautiful tree alley, just around the corner from the busy shopping streets. You can drink delicious coffee here, eat delicious home-made cake (the arretjes cake is highly recommended) but you can also go for lunch. Everything is made in own kitchen by owner Eric. A nice guy who can also give you tips about the area. And, not unimportant; he makes great cappuccino!
