Beautiful building with a nice exhibition about the origin of the region and Stadskanaal. Enthusiastic guide who can explain all kinds of tidbits and facts. Can be viewed well in about 1.5 hours. Nice as a stopover during a bike ride

Beautiful little museum with small themed exhibitions about the stab. A bit more interaction in the form of a treasure hunt, children's activities etc. would have made it even more fun.
