Muzee Scheveningen

Gives a quick glimpse at Scheveningen history, and way of life of fisherfolk. Nice little aquarium exhibit at the end and cozy courtyard for some coffee and cake. The staff was very welcoming. Would have given more stars but the text was mostly in Dutch.

Wow, definitely come here instead of the depressing Sea Life! Small but clean and well maintained aquarium area towards the end. The kids really enjoyed the whole museum, even if they were creeped out a little bit by the dolls recreating 1900 scenes. 😁 Very nice staff as well. Amazing terrace - what a great spot for a beer on a sunny day.

You can see Scheveningen’ evolution over the time. Also marine animals, some paintings and traditional costumes.
