NEVER BOOK THIS PLACE!!! SCAMMER!!! We have booked an apartment for six people. All we get was a filthy and obstructed room in the cellar. You may also call it a storage room. The furnishings were thrusted together and the ceiling was very close to the upper bunk beds. You better be small if you wanted to sleep up there. But hey, sleeping was barely possible because it was very, very, very hot in there. The receptionist was too kind to give us one fan. But no problem, the windows were broken; it was not possible to close them properly. So fresh air was able to come in all day and night (not). The brainy ones will say, an all-day open window in the basemant?! Yes, you are right, it would have been possible for everyone (!) to enter this room when you’re relaxing at the beach or visiting The Hague. (The beach is actually not as close as the website says). The manager told us he would call someone to fix it. Guess what happened? Nothing, you’re right! Let’s come to cleanliness and hygiene. Non-existent! The floor, the table, the chairs, the “kitchen”, the “bathroom”,… all were sticky and dirty. We have cleaned and sanitised everything we had to touch and use. I am pretty sure it has never been cleaner before we stayed. Please, let’s not talk about the “kitchen”. It was nauseously. We didn’t use it. Let’s come to the so called “bathroom”. A toilet and a shower without a curtain. Hardly any space to turn around. There were blotches we were not able to identify. Please, for your own safety, wear flip-flop shoes! Communication, friendliness and professionalism: The lady at the check-in told us we would get another room the next day because they were overbooked. And she wanted a deposit of 100€. This would be a new guideline. We refused to pay it as we have never heard of that before and the room was that bad. Later the day the manager, that’s what we think he was, promised (!) us we would get another, better room the next day. In the next morning, after a nearly sleepless night because of the sauna-like temperature in the room, we were put off to the afternoon. Surprise, surprise, in the afternoon the room we ought to get, had a water damage. So we had to keep the room we already slept in or pay extra money to get an upgrade. Would this have been a better room? We will never know as we have left the accommodation and WOULD NOT SUGGEST TO BOOK THIS PLACE!!! Never before I have experienced this kind of room and unprofessionalism of staff. They lied to us and didn’t even care. This is scam and a shame!

It was nice but it was noisy the walls were paper thin i could hear the people next to me. I didn't like the first room they offered to me it smelled of cigarettes also its felt grubby ans the air was stagnant. I asked for another room the second room was way better but noisy. Also only one window. I would stay there again but get a corner room overlooking the lake. The staff were ok but the cleaning staff cudnt speak Dutch.

To start the receptionist was not very friendly at all. Then the drain in the shower was blocked a bit so if you shower for more than 1 minute it overflows. Then we got into bed... They were not very comfortable to stay the least. Then we slept really badly because the walls are so thin you can hear the conversation in the room next door. If you eventually do fall asleep you wake up with the incredible noise of the people next door flushing the toilet.

Nice place right on the river... Comfortable beds in a basic room

Nice room for the price, the wi fi works very well, the people are nice... no issues during the 5 days I stayed there ! The kitchen is a bit small, you can not cook a lot in there but normally people who are coming are not there to cook their meals in the kitchen.
