This place is wonderful. We enjoyed every day in it, it was very clean and we missed nothing. At night it is so silent not like we’re we live,it was refreshing. Especially I loved to hear the seagulls in the morning. You walk like 6 to 8 minutes to the beach We searched for an ‚Albert Heijn‘ supermarket and the next one was also 6 to 8 minutes away. That was perfect! The host was so kind and he always give us the feeling we can reach out to him for anything at any time! He is the one who prepared the breakfast for the morning(uploaded photo). You get really everything you need for a big breakfast. You get the plates with cheese, cold cuts, freshly pressed orange juice, several types of bread and eggs in the evening. All of it is perfectly covered so nothing gets dry. So you can decide when you wanna eat. My mum and I always sleep in till 11am or longer on vacation and we hate it when we stay somewhere we’re we have to breakfast at 9am.. you can park your car on the private ground of the house for 17,50€ per night. A very bad B&B. Nobody received us on arrival. We called and the owner unexpectedly announced that he had an appointment. The only advantage of this B&B is the fact that it is so close to the center of Scheveningen. Furthermore, little positive to mention. Breakfast consisted of dry and stale bread. It seemed as if the bread was bought from the shelf at the local supermarket. See picture. Do you pay 10 euros p.p. for this? Here I have addressed the owner. His first solution was to get bread from his own freezer. Later the solution came that we got 20 euros back for breakfast. We chose this and enjoyed our breakfast at Van der Valk. There are other little things that weren't right. Lamps that didn't work. But also the fact that the information folder states that there are 2 coffee cups for the guests. If you would like more, it costs 50 cents per cup. Hospitality was hard to find throughout our stay. I strongly advise against booking with this B&B. It looks great on the internet and on their website. Reality is different. For the same cost there are beautiful hotels in the same area. 11/20/2019: The owner has provided a response, which is not based on how it actually went. He has distorted the actual situation. I hope that for his next guests, he improves the points we have put forward.

Nice owner, clean apartments, very well located to the beach, paid parking on site, be careful when parking right on the street. Park claws are distributed there!
