Ivy Boutique Welness has been open since August 2019 and is part of Van der Valk De Gouden Leeuw. A nice addition to the hospitallity program of the nearest hotel. Behind the front door a reception with bar. You can order a drink here, but there is also a menu. In addition to a soup or sandwich, the dishes are made in the large kitchen of the adjacent hotel restaurant. We tried a salmon sandwich and a goat cheese salad and both were very tasty and beautifully served. From this bar with fireplace there is a view of a large indoor swimming pool. The pool has a view of the beautiful garden and there are relaxing armchairs along the bath. Another door through and you have access to the spa. On the ground floor several relax sofas with a view of the beautiful garden and the countryside. Here also a tap with sparkling, cold or boiling water for a cup of tea. One floor below the stylishly decorated spa wellness with four saunas (Finnish, salt, herbs and light therapy) and two steam baths (Hamam and calendrium). Furthermore, showers, a warm bath, foot baths and a cold plunge pool. The interior is modern, relaxing and very stylishly finished. In addition, there is a gym on the 1st floor with many equipment such as cross trainers and fitness bikes. Another floor up is a beautiful room for group lessons. Various massages and other treatments are also offered at Ivy Boutique Wellness. That it really is as beautiful as on the website, I show with my photos that were taken when no other guests were present. Swimwear day is at the spa on Wednesdays and Sundays. Swimwear is always required in the pool. Conclusion: another beautiful location of Van der Valk with the great staff as the common thread. We give this a Triple A status: Kind, Attentive and Alert.
