Station Breda

Horrible and unsafety place, badly communicated and signage leads you nowhere. I was harassed by some strangers. Staff at the station were just mean.

The connections were down where the trains were so you can’t see where you’re headed unless you run down stairs by which time I missed my train. There’s no information anywhere so good luck finding how to connect without the chance of losing your chance to go home.

Dehumanizing scaled, poorly lit, blocky in form & blandly repetitious in its facade with superficial brickwork elements failing to alleviate this utterly depressing revisit to monumentalism architecture. To this day, how Koen van Velsen ever won an architectural award for such a colossal waste of money baffles me.

It depends that you compare it to where! If you come from Belgium stations in your jeourney, it's definately great.

Nice new station, with lovely promenade just in front with shops, and access to main park few steps ahead.
