A bit strange to write a review for a cemetery or graveyard as they used to call it. But in this cemetery St. Laurentius is a whole procession of family, and because practically the whole family of my wife is there and unfortunately because of a brain tumor also our son, my wife also wants to be buried there later. I have nothing against it, and just go along, all hoping it will be a long time. We no longer live in Rotterdam, but then we may have a nice ride. Yes, the only certainty is that dying is part of life. The cemetery is beautiful, well maintained, but there are many trees and there is a lot of nature, so maintenance is necessary and could be done more often. Nevertheless, it all looks neat. The opening hours are long, even on Sundays and you can always enter it (free of charge) and take care of the grave yourself. There are so-called junk boxes here and there and also cranes. Although there may be a bit more and a bit better and tidier. They splash a lot, you get soaking wet. But otherwise a beautiful and peaceful cemetery.
