We walked into the church 40 minutes early by accident— but had they not told us, I don’t think we would’ve realized. The staff welcomed us as if we were one of them, despite the fact that we were visiting from America for the weekend and spoke no Dutch. They did not care where we came from or what we believed and they enthusiastically and logically answered our questions.
The service inspired us and ignited our passion for God— it spread from the people to us. The Holy Spirit is not merely present here, but the Spirit is alive! As a visitor from a far away place in a crowded bustling city, I felt at home.
We hope to come back and see them again one day.
