From 15.11.18 busy applying for benefits now 06.05.19 they still have not taken a decision.

Welcome to the municipality of rotterdam.
Applied for benefits in February 2017. That application was rejected because I would not have submitted all the documents. What they really mean is that they have lost my documents and I can fix it.
Fortunately, I had proof that I turned in everything. Subsequently, I filed an objection together with my lawyer, and this objection was upheld. However, almost a year after my application, I still have not received any benefits.
It recently emerged that the person who handled my file at the Youth Desk had fallen ill. My file was then left on her desk for more than two months. At the insistence of my lawyer, a payment would finally be made two weeks ago. Nothing received yet. I have never experienced such a shoddy, unreliable organization as the Jongerenloket in Rotterdam.
A few tips to conclude:
- keep ALL papers
- save proof that you have submitted documents
- if you lodge an objection, do so together with a lawyer!
