Bad experience with Maasstad Rehabilitation. This is especially with regard to communication. My mother as a Covid patient has been placed here. We did not know in advance that she was not allowed to receive visitors. This caused our mother to deteriorate very sharply. As she is unable to answer the phone, contact was limited and depended on the friendliness of the reception staff (thank you) as well as nursing staff, one of which was a nurse from my mother who refused to give the phone to my mother. The physiotherapist is very limited. When he spends 5 minutes at a time incl. Registration (which took longer than the physio) to my mother per day, I dare to say that that is a lot. He claimed, among other things, that my mother walked behind a wheelchair while that is not possible with her balance disorder. We were poorly informed. As an ex-covid patient, she was placed in another center where we knew something about the new destination at the last minute, the day itself. When we were told she would be placed somewhere in the afternoon where mother did not want to go and I called about this before the agreed time bomb to prevent problems, our mother appeared to be already on her way and they had already sent our 91-year-old mother away without a coat.
