Perfect for those who love steam trains

The Museum Stoomdepot is a real experience, to be able to witness in such a pleasant way the volunteer team that maintains and restores the old steam and railway equipment with great effort. You can quietly wander between the wagons and locomotives, which are in all stages of a restoration. Everywhere people were busy with work on projects, which will definitely need a lot of effort to complete the jobs. I really enjoyed being able to witness this for a few hours. I wish the team every success in their work. I also hope that a good solution will be found for the Museum Stoomdepot Rotterdam in the context of the New Kralingen-Crooswijk zoning plan.

Very nice the steam days in October. With the steam train to Gouda. Riding on the driver's footplate is also a great experience. Nice big steam locs.
