Sunday wine tasting and lunch. ‘Frits’ serves excellent, creative-innovative culinary Dutch/Euro/Fushion creations paired with ‘Ilja’s’ selection of accompanying wines. An intimate ‘old world’ venue nestled in historic Delfshaven plays host to a surprisingly modern cuisine. Everything served up by passionate, knowledgeable and very friendly team at VERY reasonable prices.

This is a great restaurant. It is not close to the French Quarter so if you do not have a car be prepared for a costly cab ride (Uber may be a better option). Once you are there, however, be prepared for an outstanding experience. The restaurant is small, as in its in a house small. Make reservations well in advance because it is always in demand. The gumbo we had was outstanding. It had rabbit and andouille sausage that went very well together.

Fun experience, tasty (unique wines), nice price for the experience. No fancy ingredients, just basic ingredients converted into beautiful dishes. The servers were really friendly and accommodating.

Great dinner and wine. An entire evening with surprises. The food is tasty and beautifully served. With love and warm attention prepared. The space was a little bit cold, so take some warm clothes and enjoy!
