Our son studied here and I was always impressed with how all teachers and staff were there to help and coach.

Today there was an open day at De Horeca vocational school in Rotterdam. We wanted to be there, especially since our granddaughter is there at school. She is always enthusiastic about it and was curious how it would be. We were not disappointed. It all looked fine and we were allowed to taste everything. Everything was also fresh from the press and the work was proudly presented by the students with explanations. There was fresh fish and shellfish, all ready for use and an oyster was spontaneously opened for us. Delicious sushi, well filled, boiled crab, we were allowed to taste, naan bread with homemade humous and tuna. Too many to mention and these were only 2 of the classes. So go upstairs. The cakes. How beautiful they looked to eat. Fortunately, there was something reserved for the gourmets among us so taste maarrr. A class that made marzipan figures. Various breads were baked - also with themes - and everyone left with a loaf of bread. In short, it was more than worth an open day.
