I have been going there for years. The reason I like going to this shop location is when I can't find what I want at another nearby shop location. I usually go there earlier in the morning or late hours before its closing time, when there're most likely not as many customers as close to lunch and after work hours. This shop usually stocks up much more varieties of merchandise than other nearby AH stores due to the larger shop business area. Also, it is a popular stop for visitors coming to the Markthal, and those who live in the same building and in the neighborhood. That said, it can be very crowded during peak hours and a longer line at the checkout, including self checkout. I have found store workers quite friendly and helpful when being asked for assistance, although they're always occupied. Most of them are able to communicate with customers in English too, when needed.
Nice spacious supermarkt. Bakery isn't the best, better go to a Dirk. The self-checkout machines are awesome!
If you need food, decent place and good location.
Great location, very convenient. Downstairs of Markthal - can’t get any better than that. Great size and other shops of Ahold (Etos, Gall & Gall) are nearby.
