Simple classical Protestant church in Sassenheim. Hard benches, quite cold. But it is the spirit of Lord Jesus that makes the body heat up.

Here my great-grandfather and grandfather were baptized, married, and kept in service for funerals, my father was baptized, married, and kept in service, and I myself was baptized and married here. Someday I'll be behind this church myself.

Magnificent little church in the heart of the center of the village of Sassenheim. The beginnings of this church go back to 1060. Since then it has been modified several times. In addition it is located slightly in height compared to the rest of the other constructions which recalls the presence in this place of dunes.

The village church of Sassenheim belongs to the reformed church and is a very beautiful and old church in the center of the village. Once a year on monument day, the church is open to visit the organ and the bells and rooms at the top of the church. While climbing the steep stairs you will encounter 400 years of history!

The church is beautiful but is incorrectly marked on the map! This has only caused a lot of confusion with a funeral ...
