Drie Merenweg Park

Of course everyone has their own opinion, handling their travel goal. For a nice round of cycling it is indeed a great bike path. Especially for running. I can understand that the corners are (not sharp) annoying when you want to get from A to B quickly. Are possible the curves to prevent loitering from using it as a scooter race track? Or they started from day trippers instead of daily use.

After the installation of high-voltage pylons, the area is finally open again. But with a bizarre cycle path. 30 useless turns within 3 km. Staatsbosbeheer should have constructed a through cycle route. The 40-meter-wide corridor between Drie Merenweg and IJtocht was not yet a recreational area, with the high-voltage pylons not at all.

Great bike path. Nice and flat. Yes there are curves. Fun! Not dangerous at all. I wonder what they will plant next to the bike path.

The bike path is drunk, not me. Strange situation. A huge winding brand new bike path. Old pieces with filled holes with stones. Pieces of loose clay. Connections with bridges that have subsided.

This cannot be explained to anyone, these many curves. More unsafe, slower and more expensive, hope this will be rectified soon.
