We come here a few times a year to visit family (two houses). Most places are well maintained and different. People are nice and helpful. Quiet environment, except when a plane arrives at Rotterdam Airport, is a bit tricky but it is by no means Schiphol, so I think it's good to do. It is also about landing and then such a plane makes a lot less noise than during takeoff. Parking at the park can be quite tricky in good weather during the weekend, because there is a lot of barbequed in the Beatrix Park by mainly Turkish families who come with a lot of people, and therefore cars. Nuisance from that (I think the bbq is minimal.)
