Atlantikwall Museum

Nice, but small. Enter is only 3€ so you cant expect to mutch.

Unfortunately closed when I was there on a Thursday. There were lots of us disappointed but the outside is nice with small exhibit and lookout on the roof.

Take the opportunity of the monthly guided tour, as it will bring you around many other places in this huge compund. Maybe in the future the Dutch gov will authorize some more digging... everything is till there, as the fort was neither attacked or destroyed after the war. The volounteers are very dedicated and available for extra comments. Just be sure to ask for and english guide when making the ticket online (only for the tours).

Fantastic place with war history. I have seen german 88 cannon for first time "live" and I thought that it is bigger :-) But that is why this cannon was one of the best cannon in World war II - it was small (= high and easy mobility) but extremly lethal. It is good to look for everyone. It is the part of our history...
