The famous Brielle 1 April parties are repeated every year. Reenactment is how the Geuzen Alfa conquered on April 1, 1572. This made Den Briel the first free city of the Netherlands. In the coat of arms of Brielle the spell is included: 'Libertatis Primitiae' (First Freedom). The open air game April 1 conquest of the key of the city takes place in antique dress. Furthermore, many festivities and care of the inner man. There is also a April 1 association of which you can become a member. The association was established on January 10, 1939, registered by notarial deed of May 10, 1978, changed at a later date. Parking places are designated for a visit to the parties, at most 5 minutes walking.
Great event. Parking is still a minor problem. Very nice to experience once.
