Have been there for 15 months am of 73/1.
Such a shame that you can only see this fantastically beautiful building from one side. Anyway, we can be happy that it is still there and is well maintained. I would like more Ypenburg residents to realize what happened here on May 10, 1940.
This was one of the oldest airports. The station building was designed by the architects Brinkman and van der Vlugt, who also designed the van Nelle factory in Rotterdam.
Recommended to go to the memorial, a few days after the official memorial on May 4!
A nice reminder of something that once was: the Ypenburg airport.
