Den Haag, Station Laan van NOI

Disgusting. Lift/elevator smelling of urine. So bad. Perhaps someone did something in the lift, which is annoying and stupid, but should the authorities not clean it. Looked like the lift had it for ages. Almist suffocated for the ten seconds that I was inside.

This is a very nice little train station with very limited facilities. But it does have a Kiosk and the WC. Actually all what you need. Laan van NOI is located on the oldest railway line in the Netherlands, the "Old Line" between Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The part of the line between Leiden and The Hague opened in 1843. The first station was named after an inn, "Nieuw Oosteinde". When the station re-opened in 1907, it took the name of the road.
