Happen & Tappen bij 't Scheepje

The food was very good, but disappointed by atmosphere and staff. There was live piano player/singer whose repertoire ranged from old songs to the newest and he was definitely loved by some guests. But, his music was very loud and that made it almost impossible to have a conversation with someone at your table. Furthermore, there were people smoking at the tables all around us, which along with waiting 45 minutes for our desert, likely due to a waiter who forgot to put the order in, costs this place 2 of the 5 stars I can give.

Lovely outside dining on the bank of the canal. Surf and turf was cooked perfectly, staff were friendly and the beer was nice. What more do you need???
