My mother has 6 February last had a brain haemorrhage. Because the care had arrived the same evening, but she was told that a doctor would not be called until the following day and the caretaker had told her that she was not allowed to use her alarm button, while all the symptoms of a brain haemorrhage were visible (sudden power failure on the left side of her body), we as a family have started a complaints procedure. We have already received all the reports, but Dr. Kuilenberg from Huisartsenpost Oost, a practice that happens to be located in this building and also received this request 3 weeks ago, does not wish to cooperate here. She indicates that she has called my mother about this, but my mother indicates that although she called her, she did not speak about her lawyer. She asked my mother, now 92 years old, if she only had "signed for something". In the meantime, this general practitioner has confirmed to her lawyer that on this basis she does not wish to cooperate with this request. Because this practice is located in the Weddesteyn complex, we suspect that there is a conflict of interest to be cautious in this matter, and it is not for nothing that her response took no less than 3 weeks. Because of the attitude of this doctor, this request will now be made to the court.
