Very customer unfriendly I, was not helped and did not appear to be a service-oriented dry cleaner. I left after 15 minutes of waiting, after a person told me to press a bell. Then I walked into a large factory where nobody was. Too bad this.

Almost a year ago we were married in Utrecht. After the wedding I searched the internet for a good and reliable dry cleaner in Utrecht, who also has experience with wedding clothes. That is how I ended up at Hartevelt Stomerij. Unfortunately my experience is different ... The contact was initially smooth and the steamed wedding dress and wedding suit were quickly delivered to the home. When checking the clothes I noticed that there were all kinds of weird stains on my husband's pants. They look like small rust spots, spread over the legs of the pants, but also in the band. These stains weren't there when we removed the pants. There are a lot of stains and the pants can no longer be worn. The pants were taken by the courier again, because in this state I did not want to take the pants. When we delivered the wedding clothes to the dry cleaners, we were asked if there were any specifics. "No, no details, only the bottom edge of my wedding dress is quite dirty." We received a response: "we see that more often, no problem." After the pants went back with the courier, I contacted Hartevelt several times. Where I expected understanding and apology to be in place, I had to go and defend my story and it became a good story. They insisted that the stains could not have occurred during cleaning, and I continued to insist that the stains were absolutely not in the pants when they were brought. They are very strange inexplicable stains. I was not called back several times and I had to make contact myself. Hartevelt eventually sent the pants to Firma Kreussler for an investigation. After receiving the written report, which was full of spelling errors, the company concluded that the stains were already present in the trousers and had become visually perceptible as a result of cleaning. In the meantime, we have also contacted the store where my husband bought his wedding suit. They have contacted the fabric supplier. Both had never heard such an argument and could not place it. In the meantime, I also checked my wedding dress again and it turned out that my dress had also shrunk a few centimeters with steaming! This was clearly "proved" because the underskirt came out under the dress. I was dumbfounded! I contacted Hartevelt again and as a reaction to this I received that they clean clothing on the basis of the washing label, but my wedding dress is unique and handmade and therefore has no washing label. And again no understanding or apology on their part. In addition, I had to call back several times or email a reminder to get a response. Ultimately, we as leniency received a steaming good 50 euros Harteveltstraat Cleaning (if we ever go a little dry cleaned), a return of 10 euros for steaming pants and taking the dress's studio Harteveltstraat. Unbelievable, but true! In the case where my husband bought his wedding clothes, on the other hand, we received a very nice response. They indicated that they found it very annoying that we had to look back on our wedding and therefore offered to have new pants made. That's service again!

Super good service. Got my wedding dress and my husband returned his suit whole, shiny and fast. Picked up at home and delivered and had good contact with them about this. Very nice and definitely recommended!
