I was there last week , nice environment, sitting place outside , staff are friendly.

Unfortunately had very bad experience with this cafe. The botanical gardens are beautiful but this cafe ruined our afternoon. Treated absolutely inhospitable by the waitress. I have a nut allergy so I asked if my choice contained nuts. Without taking an allergen card, the waitress said that there are traces of nuts in everything because nothing is cleaned in between preparing the dishes, so that it was our own risk. When I asked if there was nothing without nuts, there was a very grumpy response. In the end we just left.

Very small and hardly sufficient portions, so you can hardly get enough and the price is not reasonable.

We have been here to celebrate a birthday. We arrived at 3:30 PM. We knew that the restaurant closed at 4:30 pm. And yet an employee had to constantly indicate that they really closed at 4:30 PM. At the stroke of 4:30 pm the gentleman stood at the table. Then we went outside. Because we had a number of people in a wheelchair, I put a number of seats away outside. The gentleman then came on high legs to indicate that it was not allowed to move the chairs because they would break. I can understand that this is not allowed, but it can be told nicer. Then indicate that they really want to help .. that was a bit late. we then went into the gardens.

Very scanty sandwiches, all tried. The one with houmous was lubricated hours ago. Soup was not much better. Absolutely limited card anyway. Staff unfriendly.
