A nice shop but not much variety - things stay quite the same. The things that they have are lovely though, and lot of locally created items too.
Pricy but demonstrates good taste.
I'm not really the interiordeco person but this shop really ticks my boxes. This part of Utrecht is really cute but shame little people know about it.
Ordered beautiful shawl online, had seen it in the always attractive shop window. And an hour later I got it personally delivered, nicely wrapped and well ... great!
Craftwork. Have an antique cupboard painted by Floris. Probably because the wood has been stored in a damp storage place for weeks, it has warped, making the cabinet difficult to reassemble. The paintwork was also very lazy, only on the inside. When I had someone else look at it, a professional, who told me that it is not good for the wood at all. The painted side will then work very differently from the unpainted side. That also causes warping. Clear sign that it was done by a hobbyist apparently. And do not dare to criticize Floris, because then he will fall into the role of the misunderstood artist. A waste of almost 200 euros for painting; a shame of the more than 100 year old cupboard.
