BO!NK Theater

Lisette, 47, before I started with the music theater group JO! N, I had no doubts, I was especially curious. I had previously gained experience at a musical association in Woerden and sang in a choir. At first I was going to participate in the course on Thursday evening at BO! NK Theater, but I couldn't combine that. When music theater group JO! N started on Tuesday evening, I immediately registered. Such a first time is always a bit of a test, how does it go about here? I didn't want to be very exuberant right away, but first wanted to see the cat from the tree. It was a wonderful evening and I immediately felt part of the group. JO! N (and BO! NK Theater) consists of a very diverse group of people, but in one way or another we fit together. Everyone brings his or her own qualities. That is the great thing Claudia does. She looks at your qualities and tries to develop them further and let you get the best out of yourself. It starts from possibilities and not impossibilities. While playing I have a lot of fun, and sometimes it also means letting go. It doesn't all have to be perfect and you don't have to be afraid of making mistakes. Claudia calls it failure pleasure. There is room for who you are and for any emotions. If it is unexpectedly a bit too much for you, this will be noticed, but it will not be judged. At BO! NK Theater you can just be yourself and there is good togetherness. One person is not more important than another! Everyone has and is given the opportunity to shine on stage. At BO! NK Theater we look at you and what is in you, and that is magnified in the game. Of course there is clear direction, but there is the freedom to be yourself and to create your own thing. But the most important thing remains to enjoy it!

I admit it, with trembling knees I left for music theater group JO! N in January of this year. I have already gained theater and singing experience. You would think that this was enough to confidently travel to the trial lessons. Still, I thought it was exciting. A whole decade had passed. Could I still do it? In addition, I missed "something". Something creative, expressing myself in other areas, letting myself step out of my comfort zone and working on something together with a group. The trembling knees were not necessary afterwards. From the first moment at JO! N's trial lesson, I had a great time. You step into a warm bath and you immediately feel at ease. And I recognized the "something" I was looking for again. It is a theater feeling, an indescribable part of yourself. There is something in that musical theater that is addictive, a theater high instead of a runners high for a runner. At BO! NK Theater (JO! N) there is immediate complete confidence from the entire group. This is largely created by the involved teachers who create a good atmosphere, so that you can express yourself optimally in playing and singing. Professional lessons are taught by a fine group of teachers from the BO! NK Theater School. The lines are short, you have quick contact with the people who manage and lead it. The theater lessons require energy but I get twice as much energy in return. I bounce for a long time, after a lesson. And I learn a lot. The right technique and experience with singing. In play, among other things, how you can best embrace all your insecurities and put your entire "me" on stage, both physically and mentally. I have not been with music theater group JO! N for very long, but that "something" has made a comeback because of them. You do not "just" experience theater, you have a lifetime experience in (music) theater.

About a year ago I started at Bo! Nk, with the Jo! N group. A group that, in addition to theater, is also engaged in singing. Because there are differences in the amount of experience, I can always learn something from my group members and I can recognize myself in those, who, like me, not yet much have theater experience. The atmosphere is warm and open. Nothing is crazy or weird. Claudia also plays in this a major role: she gives professional directions in a very relaxed way and also makes you feel that you do it together. I'm going to go there, stand full blast for two hours. After such an evening I am tired but also full of energy. We have a lot of fun, are very active and I get through the different work forms and exercises also inspiration for my work! JO! N consists of such a nice group of people. I can JO! N anyone who likes to do something do with music and theater and who want a creative evening filling. You feel at the fellow students have the same motivation and energy. BO! NK Theater is a professional organization for professional theater. You do not just do anything: there is a structure in the lessons and meetings. I see this reflected in my son (now going from training year 2 to training year 1) and in JO! N's curriculum. You can really grow in making, playing and experiencing theater. People regularly flock to theater courses in the country. BO! NK Theater is a cradle for new talent =)! The versatility of BO! NK Theater makes it fun and interesting for all ages! There is always a form of theater that suits you. I enjoy it, together with the other students and teachers of BO! NK Theater!

Claudia is very professional, the theater offers targeted theater and the evenings are well structured. Super direction with vision! At JO! N I really experience the pleasure of playing. Jonne, 46, my first experience with BO! NK Theater was as a make-up assistant. I saw all the children, including my son, enjoy themselves so much and I thought, I want that too! My first step was the theater choir and now for the second year music theater group JO! N of BO! NK Theater. But this was not without a struggle.
