It is the last link in the Vijfwal that runs through Houten-Zuid: the part along the Oosterlaakplas and Westrumspad, with a new 'highlight' in the form of this bastion. It has not yet been opened, but on the 'inside' the fences have been placed in such a way that you can easily access it. Beautiful view of the lake and what will be the last new residential area of ​​Houten-zuid in the coming years. The planting has a different character than elsewhere: in addition to the rows of trees, also more hedges and shrubs. Just wait until everything has taken hold, then Houten is (again) a bit greener.

Nice viewpoint of the area from this hill. Especially when there are many people skating on the Oosterlaakplas or the Rietplas it is a colorful view. It is very cold when the wind chill goes to -10 ..
